Potassium nitrate is a liquid nitrogen potassium fertilizer designed for plant feeding in impenetrable soil.
Potassium nitrate is particularly effective in soils with low potassium content as well as for negative chlorine reaction cultures. Potassium nitrate solutions are compatible with other soluble fertilizers, don't contain harmful dashes and insoluble compounds.
Chemical formula : KNO3
Recommended practices :
Potassium nitrate solution crystallizes during storage. Crystal presence does n o t mean product ' s deterioration. Such solutions should be either stirred up to full dilution or diluted with water in 1:1 correlation.
Potassium nitrate is applied in impenetrable soils with irrigation/sprinkling systems.
Application rate is calculated reasoning from soil's agrochemical indices and culture growth conditions:
· For root additional feeding : 1,2-4,5 l per 1000 l of water in impenetrable soils;
· 2,3-4,5 l per 1000 l of water for open soils .
· For leaf additional feeding 1-3% solution is used depending on culture . Periodicity: 2-4 sprayings during the vegetation period. Solution application rate is generally accepted for the cultures.
